Touch-based Blackberry coming soon

A touch-screen version of the Blackberry phone is in the works, according to online reports.

A touch-screen version of the Blackberry phone is in the works, according to online reports.

The phone - dubbed ‘Thunder' - will be based on touch-screen technology similar to that of the Apple's iPhone, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The phone will not include a keypad or a slide-out keyboard. Instead, it will only boast four physical buttons located under the touch-screen.

According to Boygeniusreport.com - a well-known mobile phone review site - the Blackberry Thunder will be released between July and September of this year.

Representatives for Research in Motion - the firm behind the Blackberry device - are yet to comment.
