Motorola and luxury custom mobile phone creator Alexander Amosu have jointly launched the world's first gold and diamond encrusted Bluetooth headset.

The Diamond MOTOPURE H12 is made from 18K gold and 180 cut diamonds. The headset is available in a limited run of just 100, and is only available for custom order online. It is also the first headset to feature Motorola's new CrystalTalk technology, which eliminates background noise for better sound quality.

The headset comes in two versions, a half loaded and fully loaded version priced around AED 29,000 ($7,800) and AED 45, 000 ($12,200) respectively.

Patrick Mulligan, vice president, Mobile Devices, Motorola Middle East & Africa commented: "Motorola's products have been positioned at the forefront of style and fashion for years now and we're looking forward to moving into a new era with the Diamond MOTOPURE headset."
