Secerno opens Dubai office to manage growing demand for advanced security solutions in SEMEA region

Data security specialist Secerno has opened an office in Dubai, to manage expanding demand for its solutions in the Middle East and Southern Europe.

The UK-based company, which specialises in advanced database monitoring and blocking solutions, is targeting organizations with sensitive data such as utilities, telecommunications, government and defence, as it expands into new markets.

The Dubai office will initially house two staff, with a target of fifteen personnel in the next twelve months. The company is also growing its regional channel, with the initial appointment of a distributor each for South East Europe and South Africa, and VARs to cover Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider Middle East.

The new organization will be headed up by Kerry Koutsikos, who takes on the role of vice president of Sales for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
