UAE enterprise outfit LS2 has created a business practice specialising in Microsoft Dynamics Navision solutions after inking a partnership with Bangalore-based ERP provider CodeTheatre.

Dubai-based LS2 will resell Navision ERP in the Gulf region, with CodeTheatre acting as its offshore development arm.

Navision ERP products, which are designed to integrate and manage business processes more efficiently, mark a new addition to LS2's Microsoft portfolio although the company boasts existing skills in the software giant's Great Plains, Retail Management System and Customer Relationship Management technologies.

LS2 claims the launch of the practice has received strong support from the market and resulted in a number of customers signing up with the company, although it declined to provide names.

"This new model in partnership with CodeTheatre will bring the best of both worlds to the market - quality of execution as well as lower cost of ownership," said Arvind Agrawal, managing director at LS2.

The launch of the practice has also been backed by Microsoft Gulf, which is keen to see its regional enterprise software channel strengthened. "Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution allows companies to simplify and streamline their highly specialised business processes by getting integrated rapidly with company's current operation," stated Imad Diab, sales and channel manager at the vendor. "In LS2 we have found a partner that is extremely committed to its customers and has made significant investments to ensure quality execution. This new model will add tremendous value to their portfolio and to Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers too, in a very creative way."

LS2 Corporation, which has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat, counts a consulting wing, systems integration subsidiary and Acer distribution business within its group.
