The notebook also comes packaged with a slipcase and a colour-coordinated wireless mouse. HP are calling it the “ultimate notebook PC to carry this spring”.

The Pavilion dv6700 is a serious machine, boasting a Core 2 Duo processor at up to 2.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 256MB GeForce 8400M GS graphics card and a LightScribe DVD SuperMulti drive.

The dv6700’s RAM is also expandable to 4GB, and the 120GB hard drive can be upgraded up to 250GB.

Cementing the laptop’s status as an entertainment notebook, the unit also features touchpad media buttons which allow you to control video and audio playback with a swipe of the finger.
