Arabicollege has launched an online portal to deliver online Arabic courses. The portal, arabicollege.com, will provide a range of Arabic language courses, with support in English.

Eight language courses will initially be available through the site, to support beginners to advanced level. Courses will include conversation practice, multimedia flash elements and smart whiteboards. Language training will be carried out through face-to-face interaction through the portal, with no client software required on the student's PC.

The site will also aim to provide 24-7 access to native Arabic speaking language teachers.

Rasha Rafeek, business development director Arabicollege commented: "We don't just distribute written material with support from a teacher's email. Our service is truly multimedia, combining text with authentic video and audio conversations, grammar lessons, and live classroom anytime, anywhere for unlimited times. We believe this site will change the way many students learn the Arabic language."
