Communications vendor Avaya will outline its channel strategy to more than 200 resellers from across the Middle East and North Africa scheduled to attend its annual Business Partner Conference over the next two days.

Avaya says it will use the Dubai-based event to highlight the latest developments in its go-to-market strategy and product portfolio, as well as building on its partner-centric philosophy by giving channel allies an update on its worldwide partner programme.

"2007 was an eventful year for Avaya, especially with the launch of the region's first ever Arabised IP telephony solutions, an increase in our partner base and new customers from various verticals," insisted Roger El-Tawil, regional channel and marketing director at Avaya. "The conference this year will provide an overview of our performance last year and the strategy we will adopt moving forward in 2008," he said.

The vendor also intends to give partners an opportunity to discuss future trends for the channel in the MENA region, while the newly-created ‘Interactive Solutions Fair' will offer live demonstrations of how Avaya's solutions fit with technology partners such as HP ProCurve, Trapeze, Extreme and Netgear.
