Memory manufacturer Kingston Technology has announced the launch of an online partner training programme which it has dubbed the Kingston Academy. The facility is intended to help the company's EMEA partners boost their product knowledge and improve sales through training on its DRAM technology.

Antoine Harb, business development manager at Kingston Technology Middle East and Africa, is confident that online training is the way forward for imparting product expertise to the channel in the Middle East.

"I am delighted that we are now able to offer sophisticated online training to our partners in the region," said Harb. "We are highly committed to the channel and want to offer them as much support as possible. Knowledge is key to providing successful sales advice and customer support, which is why we developed the Kingston Academy."

The Academy comprises six different modules, each working over a different area of memory technology. At the end of each module the user has the option to take a test on the covered topic and will receive a certificate in recognition of their commitment after all six modules have been completed successfully.
