FVC signs with VoIP vendor

IP gateway vendor VegaStream has brought networking specialiast FVC on board to deliver its VoIP gateways in the Middle East. FVC plans to leverage its existing body of channel relationships to distribute VegaStream's complete range of VoIP gateway solutions to enterprise network end-users.

IP gateway vendor VegaStream has brought networking specialiast FVC on board to deliver its VoIP gateways in the Middle East. FVC plans to leverage its existing body of channel relationships to distribute VegaStream's complete range of VoIP gateway solutions to enterprise network end-users.

"With the changes and the growing adoption of VoIP in the enterprise, we felt the need to expand our portfolio of solutions especially in the VoIP segment," said K.S. Parag, regional director at FVC. "In our mission to work with the best in each field, we are very pleased to add the VegaStream range of VoIP gateway solutions to give our partners the choice of providing end-to-end solutions," he added.

FVC has branches in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Cairo and Morocco and specialises in rich media conferencing, networking and security. Its distribution portfolio also includes Polycom, Juniper, Barracuda, Dilithium, Vaddio, VBrick and Nokia for Business products.

Ed Kruczek, EMEA regional director at VegaStream, commented: "FVC's value-added services and extensive market knowledge coupled with VegaStream's easy to use, and easy to provision VoIP products are the perfect fit for what we see is a growing market for VoIP services across the region."

VegaStream is the second vendor that FVC has added to its line-up during the past two months following a recent agreement with web security provider ScanSafe.
