Microsoft is looking to bring together IT professionals and developers at its Techdays Gulf event, which will be held in Dubai in December.

The event is intended to educate IT professionals on new technologies, and to provide a preview for new Microsoft solutions.

Billed as the biggest ever Microsoft event in the region, Techdays Gulf will include tracks on business productivity, security & management, developer tools, Windows Server infrastructure, unified communications technologies and application platform and database management.

The event, which includes a partner showcase and exhibition, is also being supported by Intel, HP and Nortel.

Charbel Fakhoury, general manager of Microsoft Gulf said: "Techdays Gulf is an ideal platform for all IT professionals across all industries and developers to witness first hand the new technologies that will enable them to further enhance productivity and efficiency and set their IT requirements to anticipate business needs. The event is inline with Microsoft's initiative to empower IT professionals and enable them to realize their full potential."

Techdays Gulf takes place on 4th and 5th December.
