Acer 7720G notebook range designed for high-performance gameplay

Acer has launched a new range of notebooks aimed at the region's gamers. The Aspire 7720G has been designed to include a range of features to give high performance for games and multimedia.

Mark Prosser, product marketing manager for mobility products at Acer ME said: "Today's gamers demand the best, and the Aspire 7720G meets that demand. Designed specifically to enhance the gaming experience of not just average users, but also of gaming enthusiasts who have come to expect only the best from Acer.

"The Aspire 7720G will surprise gamers, we wanted to offer something extraordinary, incorporate many state-of-the-art technologies, the 7720G is a value-added product that will excite users," he added.

The notebook include a Centrino 2 Duo processor and the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 512 VRAM. The 7720G can be configured with up to 4GB of dual-channel memory and 500GB hard drive space. It also comes with Dolby-certified Home Theater Virtual Surround Sound speakers and a subwoofer; and a choice of either DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive or an HD-DVD drive.
