Wireless broadband and mobile solutions developer Green Packet Networks (GPN) has upped its efforts in Bahrain by announcing three new partnerships. GPN has signed up with Etisalcom, Bahrain Advanced Technology (BATEC) and Al-Muallim as part of a region-wide initiative to boost the coverage of its networking solutions, which is based around its ‘Self Organising Network'.

"As GPN's growth programme is anchored mainly on strengthening our local presence in key markets, our partnerships reflect our confidence in these three leading organisations' abilities to provide comprehensive market coverage for our products in view of the growing demand for next generation networking solutions," said Dr. Ali Al Mashat, chairman, GPN.

Each partnership looks to bring different benefits and coverage to the Bahraini market. Etisalcom Bahrain is a large communications provider in the region. Al-Muallim, which specialises in providing multi-learning solutions and educational tools, is an important link for GPN to the education sector and BATEC is a supplier of a range of technology services including enterprise-class data, voice and video systems and network security.

Elsewhere in the region GPN also recently announced a partnership with corporate reseller Seven Seas to deploy its next generation network solutions in the UAE.
