Property developer Trident International Holdings (TIH) has announced that it will deploy Oracle e-Business Suite 12, to bring greater control of business processes and implement best practices throughout its operations.

The developer, which has five development projects in Dubai, is aiming to be able to improve management of its processes, and to implement international standards of financial management and transparency, to meet the expectations of its expanding customer base.

"With the launch of our fifth project, TIH has been catapulted to the elite club of leading global property developers. A direct implication of this has been that we have had to further intensify our existing focus on transparency, adoption of global best practices and partnering with global leaders," said Wazir Ali Daredia, executive director and CEO, TIH.

The project roll out will be handled by Global Technology Services (GTS), and will comprise a complete deployment of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management, Order Management, Project Management and CRM modules. The project is due for completion by January2008.

Daredia said that TIH chose Oracle because it was an ideal fit with its business requirements, and because of its functionality for enabling global operations. The company was also impressed by GTS experience in deploying ERP, particularly for the real estate market.

Shankar Iyer, director GTS said: "It is a great pleasure to be associated with Trident International in their Oracle e-business implementation initiative, and we are particularly proud of this implementation as it emphasizes GTS' dominance in the real estate and construction industry."
