DPS bags Cisco silver status

Abu Dhabi-based systems integrator Data Processing System (DPS) has taken a step up Cisco's partner ladder by gaining silver certification in its channel programme. The company expects its new status to provide it with the resources it requires to develop an expertise in selling, implementing and supporting Cisco network solutions.

Abu Dhabi-based systems integrator Data Processing System (DPS) has taken a step up Cisco's partner ladder by gaining silver certification in its channel programme. The company expects its new status to provide it with the resources it requires to develop an expertise in selling, implementing and supporting Cisco network solutions.

The silver status also endorses DPS' ability to deliver network knowledge and support capabilities to prospective customers, according to Adrian Taylor, regional channel manager for the Gulf and Pakistan at Cisco. "The purpose of our certification programme is to build channel partner expertise," he explained. "Silver certification status provides strong recognition of DPS' commitment to delivering superior network knowledge and customer service."

In addition to obtaining silver status, DPS has also been recognised with Cisco's Customer Satisfaction Excellence award - the highest distinction a partner can achieve within the networking vendor's channel programme according to the company.

"As a certified partner we have stringent standards to adhere to and this certification is recognition for meeting Cisco's strict requirement for silver certification," said Georges Hannouche, CEO at DPS, which also has aviation engineering and intelligent building systems operations in addition to its ICT wing. "We not only provide the best-of-breed solutions to the market, but also offer industry leading support and service for Cisco Solutions in the industry," he added.

Cisco certified partners enjoy several programme benefits such as a listing on the vendor's partner locator, which makes it easy for potential customers to find them, access to password protected Cisco websites and numerous sales and marketing tools.
