Compact mobile surveillance technolgy launched

Mobile digital video recording specialist D-Teg Security unveiled the Micro-DVR compact security system at GITEX Technology Week and is targeting the transportation, covert surveillance and law enforcement sectors across the Middle East.

"The Micro-DVR is quite different to anything else on the market because it is so compact and weighs less than 1kg including HDD," says Wonki Hahn, marketing manager for Micro-DVR products. The company is exhibiting at its first GITEX and says that finding strong regional distribution partners is a top priority.

"We have a network of partners in the Gulf, but the new products mark quite a change of direction for us so finding specialists is crucial," says Hahn.

D-Teg Security is hoping to attract interest from public sector buyers across the region, and is keen to highlight the versatility of the Micro-DVR. "It's ideal for public transportation, emergency response vehicles and covert surveillance applications," says Hahn.
