GITEX visitors have been experiencing the thrills of driving a racing car, thanks to an interactive initiative by Intel.

The US-based chip maker has set up a booth featuring several car race simulators in the show's main concourse, where the actual physics of driving a car are simulated courtesy of Intel's latest quad-core processors.

The processors' silicon chips drive the simulator's graphics and responses at a super-fast pace, giving ‘drivers' a breathtakingly realistic automotive experience.
