Abu Dhabi police is making its sixth appearance in a bid to reach out and make the UAE community aware of the technologies it uses.

Major Mohammed A. Alzaabi, who has worked for the force for 15 years, says, "We want to reach out to the community and make them realise we are always accessible."

"We also wish to demonstrate our in-house developed technologies to many international firms."

In particular, the force is showcasing its Iris recognition system.

"UAE is the only country in the world to have the iris system at each and every port, be it water, air or road," reveals Alzaabi.

The force is also displaying its Mobile CCTV system. The service allows the force's higher officers to view live CCTV footage of Abu Dhabi city on their mobile phones.

It is also demonstrating its eGate system and is offering all visitors a 50% discount on eGate cards.
