Xerox has doubled its booth space over 2006 in an effort to showcase its software solutions alongside its broad range of monochrome and colour printers.

The firm is showcasing its Extensible Interface Platform (EIP), which staff say is designed to boost productivity and security of its office multifunction printers.

"Our software is completely customisable and can be used in areas such as hospitality, retail, finance and healthcare," says Ben Gale, general manager of sales and marketing for Xerox MEA (Middle East & Africa). "The software brings a whole new world of possibilities to our MFPs (Multi Function Printers). EIP allows customers to customise the MFP to the organisation's particular needs as opposed to forcing the company to adapt to the machine's generic presets."

Xerox is also using its booth space to show off its latest laser printers, particularly, its colour models in line with the firm's ‘Colour everywhere' strategy, which was launched in 2001.
