Intel is showing examples of its Digital Communities solutions this GITEX. The showcase, which is divided into three booths in Concourse Two at Dubai Community Zone enables visitors to experience how technology usage can extend beyond the computer and empower their every day lives through Intel's research and development.

The Intel-based healthcare solutions include Motion Computing's C5, the first medical tablet device based on Intel's Mobile Clinical Assistant (MCA) platform. Built specifically for the medical industry, the MCA is a significant step in Intel's efforts to ensure that healthcare workers have to hand full details of their patients' records on a real-time basis.

Intel's "Digital Home" features the latest quad-core processor which enables users to combine their digital media content in one device for easy access to video, music and images.

Working with vendors, retailers, and system integrators, Intel's designs for the "Digital Home" include smart solutions that allow users to control every aspect of their living space at the touch of a button. By developing devices that are able to communicate with each other, Intel says it is redefining the notion of consumer electronics in the home.
