Gear4 has come to GITEX to promote a range of Bluetooth products aimed at taking advantage of the growing mobile phone music market.

Gear4, which has been working with Alpha Tech in the region for two years, is promoting BluEye, a device enabling consumers to accept calls via their iPod, and the HouseParty Blu, a home stereo speaker that can play tunes from an iPod via the built-in dock as well as from mobile phones connected via A2DP Bluetooth.

"We consider ourselves a pioneer of the iPod attachment industry and we like to think that we are doing the same with this stereo Bluetooth," said Tom Old, marketing director, Gear4.
