Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) has returned to GITEX Business Solutions for a third year, with grand ambitions to promote its brand and product range to customers in the GCC.

The Saudi Arabia-based company offers a portfolio of industrial information technology solutions, including advanced fleet management systems, next generation mobile services and automatic life cycle management solutions.

"We've always had a positive response after exhibiting at GITEX, so it's natural that we returned once again this year," says Nawaf Daoud Al-Hoshan, AEC's programme manager of research and development.

"Our objective for this year is promoting the name of our company in the GCC region and Middle East in general, increase awareness of our products, and look at competitor activities too," he adds.

AEC's fleet management system, named MADAR, is designed for companies to manage their fleets for better performance at lower cost. It features both Arabic and English application interface and digital maps, which can be accessed by clients any time through an online connection.

"MADAR is an advanced fleet management and tracking system that combines GPS, GIS and communication technologies to provide vehicle location and information," says Al-Hoshan.

"With this information, the fleet operator can take control of the entire fleet, improving their every day management decisions as events arise."

MADAR users are provided individual user names and passwords, with specific privileges of viewing, tracking and vehicle configuration. In addition, Al-Hoshan states that more than one user can access the system at the same time, without compromising on efficiency.

"The software includes an off-line solution, which determines the routes that a vehicle has taken during trips, which are displayed on the digital map," he adds.
