Winfield Vision Technology has chosen GITEX Technology Week to launch its range of high-end digital cameras, baby monitors and decorative USB data-storage solutions in the Middle East.

"Many of the products on display are brand new to the market, such as our digital binocular cameras, which are ideal for sports photography and recording outdoor pursuits," explains Calvin Tse, sales manager at Winfield Vision Technology.

The brightly coloured products grabbed the attention of many passers by on the first two days of the exhibition. "This is our first time exhibiting here and because the products, such as the digital camera baby-monitors have had such a positive response in China we're expecting to find a receptive audience here in the Middle East," says Tse.

The Hong-Kong based company has brought to the show intuitive camcorder technology, which it claims is so easy to use the target age range incorporates everyone from five years upwards. "Finding the right consumer electronics distributors in the region is our primary goal during the show. We're expecting a lot of interest this week," adds Tse.

The company's digital photo-frame key-rings have also proved a hit in Asia and Tse expects a similar response from tech-savvy Middle East consumers.
