UAE-based systems integrator Al-Futtaim Technologies has marked its participation at the second annual GULFCOMMS expo by highlighting its partnership with telecoms solutions provider Genesys.

The two companies recently scored a major customer win when Al-Futtaim was appointed Suite by the National Bank of Ras Al-Kaimah (RAKBANK) to implement Genesys Customer Interaction Management in four contact centres across the UAE.

"The integrated contact centre solution from Genesys has the ability to create value by building brand awareness, enhancing customer loyalty and generating increased revenues," said Harvey Klyce, managing director of Al-Futtaim Technologies.

The solution will enable companies to streamline business applications and seamlessly integrate their back office applications, according to Klyce.

"As economies develop, customers become more demanding and we believe this solution will raise the bar in a way that will lead to the development of the entire banking industry in the region," reported Lucie Nesvadba, VP of Genesys in Central/Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Scott Wise, senior sales engineer at Genesys in the Middle East and Africa, reported that the company harboured high ambitions.

"We see a lot of potential for our solutions in the region as many businesses are adopting a service-orientated business model and this is something that Genesys can deliver," he said.
