Network Operations and Consultancy Centre (NOCC), based in Lebanon, is building a reputation for providing solid and secure networking systems for corporate environments, something it hopes to build on during this year's GITEX Technology Week.

NOCC has developed its own server appliance, NOCC BOX, which can run either as a fully-fledged server for small companies or as a service-specific server for larger organisations. The solutions provider also offers a consultancy service for all computer and network planning.

Salah Al-Hidiq, general manager at NOCC, says: "We believe that we have a competitive edge where each product NOCC employs is based on the latest technologies. Through GITEX Technology Week, the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, NOCC plans to provide its expertise and share its solutions with visitors and exhibitors, and help them meet their requirements."

The company offers a wide variety of services, including, but not limited to, software development, networking, total security solutions, IT audit and consultancy, onsite support, structured cabling, maintenance and training.

Its sister companies - Web Miscellaneous (WebMisc), Software Testing Services (STS), Internet Regie and TheDaleel - offer services and support in IT consulting, web design, advertising solutions and software testing, as well as a local online directory for Lebanese and Arab websites.

GITEX Technology Week is a vital part of NOCC's marketing strategy, Al-Hidiq explains, particularly as the company tries to grow its name in the UAE and the Gulf.

"GITEX offers us the golden opportunity of introducing our services and products," says Al-Hidiq.

"Also, it provides us with the ability to compare and learn from participants and visitors of the exhibition."

Throughout GITEX Technology Week, NOCC will also be showcasing its latest systems for enterprise resource planning (ERP), point of sales for retail and restaurants, e-commerce, customer relationship management (CRM) and warehouse automation.
