UAE telecom operator Etisalat is launching new services and showcasing a range of ICT solutions aimed at sectors including healthcare, banking and finance, transportation and logistics, at GULFCOMMS.

In particular, Etisalat is launching its next generation network, a ‘triple play' service that brings together voice, video and data to the end user via one cable.

"The service incorporates high-speed TV, internet and fixed line telephone content via one cable," Mohamed Al Qamzi, CEO of Etisalat told GULFCOMMS Times.

For business customers, Etisalat is focusing on services including outsourced data and eBusiness infrastructure solutions such as eHosting and security. The company has also launched a managed service solution aimed at providing an end-to-end service that matches WAN (wide area network) requirements. This allows companies to focus on their core business activities, while Etisalat monitors their ICT infrastructure.

Visitors to Etisalat's stand can also find out how to save on their ICT bills. Indeed, the company is drawing attention to its ‘Business 24x7 GSM' package, which can save companies 35% or more on their bills. It also offers value-added services such as call conferencing, email notification and GSM Taw'am (use of same mobile number on two SIM cards).

"Etisalat today is uniquely positioned to support business in the UAE and the region and become a trusted partner of choice through a customer focused organisational structure to deliver managed end to end telecom and ICT Solutions in a partnership based approach," said Abdulla Hashim, VP, enterprise solutions, Etisalat.

Visitors will also get a preview of Etisalat's ‘In Office' solutions such as a calling service across PCs and desk phones.
