DTK expands offering

DTK Computer Middle East is seeking to appeal to a wider cross-section of computer users this year by showcasing a whole range of new notebooks, desktops, servers, game stations and navigation devices at GITEX.

"Our participation in GITEX this year will be marked by the diversity of our product showcase, underlining DTK's commitment to offer high performance products that address various consumer requirements," comments Nimer Al Attal, managing director, DTK Computer Middle East. "Our navigation device, our latest notebooks, servers and desktops, are certain to create a buzz at this edition of GITEX."

The new notebooks on display at the company's stand include MiBook S50, MiBook S55 and MiBook Z20. The MiBook series comes with Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology supporting Intel Merom 800 FSB Core2 Due processors. Models like the Z20 include features such as fingerprint security, a card reader and a 1.3 mega pixel web camera.

Also on show are the Presto X56 notebooks which use AMD Turion X2 Dual Core high performance processors, and HyperTransport and ‘Cool n Quiet' technologies.

DTK also has a number of desktops displayed at the show including the Cuatro and Cruiser range.

The Cuatro series supports Intel's latest processors - the Core 2 Duo and the Core2 Quad. The Cruiser series, on the other hand, includes AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processors and features HyperTransport technology, ‘Cool n Quiet' technology and 8 GB dual channel DDR II.

DTK is also highlighting its recently launched u-Drive 3500 GPS navigator. This comes with a built-in internal antenna, 3.5" TFT LCD touch panel, 64 MB SDRAM, 1W internal speaker with 3.5mm stereo earphone jack and rechargeable battery.

As part of its efforts to gain a share of the gaming market, DTK will also showcase its Racer X Gaming Station. Powered by the FX processor and the Intel Core2 Extreme, DTK believes it has a winning product for gamers.

Also, expect to see DTK's Grafika 8650 and Maestro III all-in-one solution at the vendor's stand.
