Dubai-based Al Yousuf Computers is kickstarting GITEX Technology Week with a strong ambition: to inform clients that the company is stronger than ever after 25 years in the market.

Director Daoud S Eid says the company has been present since the show's inception, using it as a vehicle for showcasing the latest products. Eid hopes to promote units within the firm, particularly the IT department.

Al Yousuf is showcasing a plethora of products including Albatron's boards, supporting Intel's Core 2 CPU lineup running on a 1333MHz FSB (Front Side Bus) in addition to SMC wireless networking solutions, Trapeze smart mobile systems and RingMaster WLAN (Wireless Local Arean Network) Management system software.

Eid says telecommunications systems from NEC are expected to receive a positive response at the show this year, including NEC's AspÍla Topaz Intelligent Hybrid System, designed to grow with small businesses, and the one box solution NEC AspÍla EX, which reduces long distance charges by using IP to connect multiple locations and countries.

"We're showing the latest products in the market which will aid companies' productivity and we offer constant updates and a competent team. Customers' needs change over the years yet we continue to customise solutions and applications, and people are used to seeing us here, every year," Eid says.
