Consumer electronics manufacturer Panasonic is taking a ‘the bigger the better' approach to this year's GITEX, having doubled the size of its stand space.

The firm will be using the show to display its new range of high definition plasma TVs and 10.1 mega pixel digital camera.

"Our presence at GITEX this year is going to be bigger than ever before, which will be evident from the size of our exhibition stand at the venue. Panasonic has a lot to offer this GITEX, including several product launches and display of a host of latest offerings across product categories," said Atsushi Hinoki, general manager, Corporate Communications, Panasonic Marketing Middle East.

The firm will also be exploiting the show to flag up its role as a sponosor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he added.
