The UK is once again maintaining a strong and very enthusiastic presence at this year's GITEX Technology Week event, with over 50 leading British companies appearing across the exhibition's three separate shows.

The UK Pavilion for example, in the IT Solutions segment of GITEX Business Solutions, is hosting the best of British technology manufacturing, including companies as diverse as low-cost international mobile network operator Cherry Mobile, global leader in the fibre optics space SENKO Advanced Components, European Antennas and computer accessories and security leader Kensington.

Organised by Tradefair, on behalf of the UK trade association Intellect and with the backing of UK Trade & Investment, the UK Pavilion provides what its organisers claim is the perfect platform for British companies to do business in the Middle East.

Mark Birchall, the managing director of Tradefair, comments: "Because GITEX Technology Week covers the whole spectrum of the ICT industry, it creates a vibrant marketplace where sellers and buyers congregate. The continued presence of the UK pavilion at the show is a direct result of British manufacturer success in this challenging market."

This year Tradefair is helping show delegates learn more about its varied partner organisations, having set-up its own dedicated GITEX website - at www.gitexuk.tradepavilion.com. This portal not only highlights the companies appearing at the UK Pavilion, but also enables visitors to the show to book demonstrations and appointments with the relevant companies.

Tradefair claims to be the leading event management company for the technology industry and assists firms at over 40 global trade shows.
