IT powerhouse HP has emphasised its commitment to GITEX Technology Week by inviting two of its top worldwide executives to the show. This marks the first time that these global HP leaders have visited Dubai to join the firm's Middle East team at the event.

Satjiv Chahil, the company's senior vice president of worldwide marketing (PSG), and Richard Walker, HP's worldwide product manager for desktops, join HP Middle East's newly appointed general manager and Technology Solutions Group (TSG) lead John Hoonhout at its show booth in hall three of GITEX Business Solutions.

"GITEX Technology Week is one of our biggest events of the year so a lot of focus goes into it. We are here, we are here in numbers, we are here in force and we're fully committed," Hoonhout states.

Each of HP's business units will be showcasing a range of products and services this week, supported by the corresponding executives and spokespeople for SMB, consumer and enterprise market segments.

In HP's Executive Lounge will be Ken Willett, the vice president and managing director of the firm's Technology Solutions Group in the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA) region. Also in attendance this week are Pierre Mirlesse, vice president and general manager of HP's Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) for the MEMA region and Kim Holm, who is vice president for IPG's Commercial Core business.
