Sanyo will be showing a selection of innovative products at Gitex, alongside more traditional products. The consumer electronics giant's stand in Gitex Consumer Electronics will include high definition waterproof video cameras, the brightest LCD projector in the world and 42" weatherproof LCD displays for outdoor use.

Several models from the Xacti range of waterproof movie cameras will be on show, including the HD2, which can shoot up to 3 hours of HD footage on a single 8GB SD memory card. In display technology, the PLC-XF47 LCD projector, which Sanyo claim is the brightest in the world, will be demonstrating its 15,000 lumens brightness capacity, along with new models digital signage and large scale presentations.

Also in display technology, Sanyo will be showing the SANYO 42V, a weatherproof LCD monitor that has been designed to be ideal for digital signage or for outdoor events. The monitor is fully waterproof, with a light weight aluminium frame and anti-reflective, tamper proof glass.

"Underlining the importance of the fast growing market in the Middle East, Sanyo is committed to offering its customers the latest technology at the best value and quality," said Tetsuji Okui, managing director at Sanyo Gulf FZE.
