Unified Threat Management (UTM) vendor Cyberoam has penned a partnership agreement with Saudi-based distributor Sariya-IT.

The vendor said it hopes to extend its channel reach across the Kingdom through Sariya's vast reseller network.

A member of the Al Kuhaimi Group, Sariya boasts ties with 1,000 resellers across the Middle East and North Africa.

"Saudi Arabia holds a key position to Cyberoam's presence in the Middle East," said Harish Chib (pictured), vice president new business development at Cyberoam. "With Sariya's vast distribution presence and strong support and service ethic, the partnership will enable small, medium and large enterprises in the Kingdom to benefit from Cyberoam's unique identity-based security."

Cyberoam, a subsidiary of Elitecore Technologies, claims its identity-based UTM appliances offer complete protection against existing and emerging internet threats to over 1,700 enterprises globally in corporate, education, financial, IT, hospitality, and government sectors.

"We are excited about this partnership with Cyberoam. Having placed our marketing, technical and distribution resources in place, we look forward to driving Cyberoam's presence in the Kingdom." said James Mathew, general manager at Sariya-IT.
