HP's networking division, ProCurve, will use GITEX Business Solutions as a platform for one of its major 2007 solution launches, in addition to welcoming its global boss to Dubai.

"We'll be releasing one of our new core network products at the show," confirms Ivan Kraemer, the regional sales and marketing director at HP ProCurve.

"John McHugh [VP and GM of HP ProCurve] will be at the show to help launch the new system, which is going to offer enterprises a new level of flexibility," Kraemer adds.

ProCurve has been heavily pushing its ‘Adaptive Edge' architecture in recent years, with the aim of putting more intelligence at the edge of the network. Kraemer says the company is equally able to support customers with this architecture, or a more traditional central core design, depending on their needs.
