Aiming to maximise its channel and customer reach, Sariya Company Ltd., a member of the Al Kuhaimi Group, is heading to GITEX Business Solutions to showcase its full line of networking brands; from Corinex power line products to Astra telephones, MultiTech and Igel solutions.

Athough already serving over a thousand resellers and IT solution providers across the region, the company is looking very much ahead and seeking to strengthen its position in the market.

"We are trying to reach the maximum number of end users as well as the maximum number of channel partners," said James Mathew, Sariya's general manager. "We have participated in a couple of events across the region, but when you look at the ROI, we've found that GITEX Business Solutions is the best place to be in terms of responses and the quality of actual business leads."

Further defining what's meant by expanding its reach, Mathew continues, "We are trying to increase our number of channel partners, strengthen our market partnerships and increase awareness of the products and brands that we have," he expalins. "We'll also be talking about the training programs that we initiated last year and which have been already found very interesting. We offer frequent training programs to our partners as well."

Focusing on three major technology areas - storage, networking and security - Sariya's extensive service offering includes pre- and post-sale training and technical support, financing options and configuration services.

The Dammam-based value added distributor also continues to play an introductory role for new products and brands that have no access to the region, but at the same time have good records and acceptance in other markets.

"EqualLogic was never ever here in the region. However, it is positioned the second largest in the world," Mathew says. "Kaspersky had a very good rating but also wasn't that familiar a name in our region, so we are always introducing new brands with good histories," he adds. Sariya's key focus markets at present are Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
