Mitel will focus its energies this September on meeting delegates from Saudi Arabia as it attempts to boost its business in the Kingdom.

Networking and b2b voIP solutions provider, Mitel Networks, will focus on the fast-growing market of Saudi Arabia during GITEX Technology Week.

"We believe that the Kingdom is definitely going to be the most important market of the next three years. It really is going to surprise everybody. We are impressed with the acceptance of IT and also the growth rate in the country," says Hisham El-Amili, the regional director of Mitel for the MEA region.

According to El-Amili, many visitors from Saudi Arabia traditionally visit the Dubai event and his company will take the opportunity this year to familiarise customers and partners with its growing line-up of products and solutions.

According to El-Amili, the company will even look to appoint new Saudi partners during the event if at all possible.

"We are looking for seven new partners, one per region in the West, middle and East. Two more would concentrate on the application and BMS solutions from Mitel. We are also interested in the growing hospitality sector in the country and have recently appointed a distributor to address the SMB market in KSA," adds El-Amili. Some of the main products Mitel will display include a new specialised banking solution. Mitel will also use the show to meet non-Saudi partners from around the region.
