Security distributor Fusion Distribution will showcase its full product portfolio at GITEX Technology Week and will be demonstrating solutions from its "top six" security vendors in an effort to attract resellers and end-users in the region.

The likes of RSA Security, MessageLabs, Surf Control, Watchguard, PGP and Celestix will all be well represented, with presentations running throughout the exhibition at the Fusion Distribution stand.

"We will have demonstrations on our stand of each of those brands," explains Tim Martin, managing director at Fusion Distribution. "Together, all six of these brands cover the six main areas of cyber security threats today: authentication, web content filtering, e-mail content filtering, firewall, managed service and encryption," he adds.

The distributor - which has recently come under the full ownership of European security distributor Computer- Links - is looking forward to life with the German wholesale outfit, hailing the move as the logical next step in its evolution.

Fusion will also be echoing its corporate objectives at this year's show - to drive the values of sales, product management, technical services and training in a "responsive to change manner"- and says its sights are firmly fixed on translating this value into profitability for its vendors, customers and employees.

As a regular exhibitor on the trade show circuit, Fusion is very much looking forward to this year's show and is hoping to use the event as a platform to enhance its reseller network and customer base.

"If a reseller wants to visit our stand, he will find excellent profit opportunity within our brand to sell to end-users. And if an end- user comes over to our stand, he will see solutions that will be able to cover him against the top six threats of cyber security - all on one stand," concludes Martin.

The UAE distributor is currently preparing for an office move to its new Dubai Silicon Oasis site.
