PC peripherals manufacturer, Logitech is planning to expand its already wide range of PC peripherals at this year's GITEX Technology Week as part of its ‘Get Comfortable' campaign.

"The key theme this year is comfort," reveals Heinz Ettinger, the general manager of Logitech ME. "The reason for this is that we have transformed some of our products to bring more comfort to the sometimes tricky activities associated with using a notebook or typing for hours on a computer keyboard."

The company, along with its regional partner ITE Distribution, will unveil what it claims are its best new models across all of its product categories. It will also showcase existing cordless devices (such as keyboards, mice and desktop sets), internet communication products (including webcams and voice access devices), interactive gaming products for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and home entertainment releases such as PC speakers and headsets.

One of the star products at the show meanwhile is expected to be a computer mouse that works exactly like Nintendo's innovative Wii gaming console. Ettinger also reveals that this year Logitech is increasing its focus on the region and to do this increasing its investment here. "We have been present in the market through our partners for over a decade now, but you'll soon notice a larger Logitech presence in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar. This region has great potential, just like Brazil, Russia, India and China," he says.

Visitors to GITEX Business Solutions can check out Logitech's latest comfortable product line-up at its stand D3-20, which is located in hall 3.

Logitech also plans to host live demos and a host of other activities at its stand.
