Document management and hardware vendor Xerox Corporation is doubling the size of its show presence at this September's event in order to showcase its entire range of print related solutions and detail its SMB expansion plans.

With the majority of Xerox's hardware sales in the Middle East region comprising entry-level printers and MFPs, most often purchased by small and medium sized businesses, Ayman Mattar, Xerox Middle East's regional marketing manager and his team will be paying particular attention to this burgeoning sector. He says, "Historically we were very well known for serving large level companies, but we're increasingly focused on building the SMB side. Therefore we'll be putting lots of energy and focus into this area, flagging up both our colour and mono machines."

The company splits its operations into three core business units: office, production and global services.

As far as GITEX Technology Week is concerned however, the Office division is where Xerox's focus lies.

"We're concentrating our efforts on two key themes this year," Mattar says, "which are leading with colour, in terms of both our printers and MFPs, and second we'll be looking to really extend our reach to end user customers by building up our channels."
