Component giant AMD's team will use GITEX Business Solutions to re-educate the market on its varied range of solutions.

"I don't think it's well understood how diversified we are," says Gautam Srivastava, VP sales and marketing, and managing director for AMD Middle East, Africa and Pakistan (pictured). "Thanks in part to the ATi acquisition we now have a very diverse portfolio, so we want to help people understand the company we are today. We provide the graphics processor in every Razer mobile phone, every Microsoft Xbox 360 and in the Nintendo Wii. There's lots we do beyond processors and graphics cards."

Srivastava says AMD has been working on its visibility in the region and regards the show as a chance to reiterate its Middle East presence.
