XSAT will use this year's second GULFCOMMS to launch its latest range of satellite and B2B VoIP products targeting SMEs in the Middle East and wider regions.

Additionally the company will have a presence at this year's GITEX Shopper event, where its will promote the latest additions to its Thuraya portfolio.

"We will be mainly advertising the new Thuraya Satellite phones - the SO-2510, the smallest device of its kind available to the market, as well as the SG-2520, since we are one of the leading Thuraya international service providers based in Dubai," says Gleb Larionov, the managing director of XSAT (pictured).

The company claims the Middle East and African market accounts for approximately 25% of its global revenues, and Larionov maintains that GULFCOMMS is crucial to the company's regional presence.

"With the increasing number of visitors for GULFCOMMS every year, participating in the show has become essential for every technology business to introduce, promote new technologies and to acquire new sales leads," he says.
