Video conferencing specialist Tandberg wants to build on its success at last year's event, where it received a visit from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai himself.

"At last year's event Sheikh Mohammed spent a lot of time watching a live demo of our products at Etisalat's stand. We are very excited about this year's event and hopefully we will have lots of potential clients stopping by our booth. Our presence is definitely sending a message that Tandberg is here in the Middle East to stay," says Ida Louise Asplund Sjo, Tandberg's marketing manager for the emerging markets.

Tandberg plans to offer fully tailored solutions to drive its regional business. "Whether the customer is starting off with a simple configuration of two video endpoints or is planning to make video an integrated part of their business, we have the solution," Sjo adds.
