More than 80 of the region's biggest consumer electronics companies have already confirmed their participation in the new Consumer Electronics (CE) segment of GITEX Technology Week as the region's market continues to explode.

Recent reports suggest that the Middle East CE industry is now worth some US$7 billion and its stunning recent expansion looks set to continue with double-digit growth now being predicted each year up to 2010.

This September's B2B-focused CE segment of GITEX Technology Week promises to pack Sheikh Rashid and Maktoum halls to the rafters with new home and mobile innovations, from plasma TVs to consoles and phones.
