Juniper Networks, the established vendor of networking and security products and solutions, intends to highlight the recent updates to its security solutions portfolio and the latest additions to its T-series router line, the T1600 core router, at the GULFCOMMS 2007 event.

"In security, Juniper's solutions have been tailored to address growing demands by businesses for secure yet mobile workforces, rich content and virtual enterprises.

These trends create a need for networks with enhanced application delivery and performance, which also allow businesses to have complete control and visibility of applications," says Mohamad Abdul-Malak, regional director of Juniper Networks MEA.

"Juniper has addressed this need with its ScreenOS version 6.0 operating system for the Integrated Security Gateway and Secure Services Gateway firewall/VPNs," he adds, claiming these releases provide enterprises with advanced granular visibility.
