Mobile phone and accessory retailer Axiom Telecom will be heading to Shopper for the first time this year as the company looks to boost its September sales and position itself as the mobile phone specialist of choice.

"We'll definitely be there at Shopper and we'll be supporting all our principle products, from Nokia and Sony Ericsson to Motorola, i-mate, LG, i-mate and Samsung," states Faisal Al Bannai, Axiom's CEO. "We will also be doing a very special product promotion, which we're working on right now, which will link in to the Skywards air miles programme," he adds.

"It's the first year we've decided to do Shopper," Al Bannai explains, "the reason being that we want to be part of one of the largest retail events in the Middle East."

Al Bannai claims Axiom is the largest mobile phone retailer in the region.

"We're solely about mobile phones; that's what we specialise in," he confirms.
