SAP Arabia has begun an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation for Jordan-based real estate company Saraya Holdings.

SAP's ERP and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions will be used to replace standalone systems and provide an integrated software system, SAP said in a statement.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Benefits of the implementation, which is expected to go live by year-end, will include better automation and optimisation of company processes, according to Saraya Holdings director of IT, Haya Khayyat.

"SAP solutions will bring enormous benefit to the entire Saraya group. They will allow us to interact with our valued customers and employees in a faster, more transparent manner, while reducing our operating costs, and improving efficiency," Khayyat said.

"With company interests spread out across the region, the need for a business solution that consolidated daily operations was critical. SAP was able to meet our requirements and deliver," he added.

Saraya Holding's real estate, hospitality and leisure projects include Saraya Aqaba, Saraya Dead Sea, Saraya Islands, and Saraya Oman.

"With SAP's Business Solutions, Saraya Holdings can now look to optimising and consolidating company procedures in their bid to become the region's leading property developer," SAP Arabia president Essam Enany commented.
