Printer vendor Xerox MEA recently held a three-day marketing workshop for its channel partners in the Middle East.

Partners were given presentations addressing a range of marketing-related topics and discussions including marketing communications, product launches, and the importance media relations, advertising and local sponsorships.

"Our channel partners are key to realising Xerox's success, ensuring that our products and services are easily available to our customers in the Middle East and Africa," said Ben Gale, general manager, sales and marketing at Xerox MEA.

"We are committed to ongoing partner training to enhance their knowledge of new Xerox innovations and services and how best to use marketing tools to communicate to and reach their target audience. Transfer of knowledge and developing an insight into the channel's specific needs and market dynamics in the region is vital for this to happen," Gale added.

The vendor said the aim of the event, which was chaired by Xerox Middle East regional marketing manager Ayman Mattar, was to enrich and guide partners' sales and marketing skills to further generate demand for its solutions across a wider cross-section of businesses and consumers.
