If you are looking at your US brethren with something approaching envy as iPhone day draws near, then Apple's 20 minute guided tour may represent something of a terrible tease, or temporary cure to your longing.

You'll need Quicktime to watch the movie, but then you have the option of either downloading it to have it closer to you, or you can stream it from Apple's stateside servers. The 20-minute long video tells you everything that you need to know about Apple's new phone turned iPod turned videoplayer. Oh, and you'll get to hear "it's really cool", like 100 times.

Meanwhile it is interesting to watch how the hardcore PC press are reacting to the imminent launch of the iPhone. Headlines like ZD Net's 'The iPhone screen - it's kinda sucky' suggest that some hardcore Windows fans won't be too disappointed if, come the 29th of this month, Apple's baby does not live up to its rather high expectations.
