The treatment system recycles water in small-scale applications like villas, remote areas, camping grounds, resorts, and in any rural area in which networked system treatment is not cost effective. PCT calls the system, Waterloo Biofilter. It is a single-pass aerobic biofilter designed for the biological treatment of wastewater. The patented process uses an absorbent synthetic filter medium designed to optimise the biological degradation of wastewater. The biofilter typically removes solid particles and coliform bacteria in addition to all harmful material. Water provided is suitable for toilet flushing or similar but is not suitable for drinking.||**||
