Dubai-based company Graph East Computers is gearing up to open offices in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait over the next 12 months as part of a regional expansion drive. The firm, a supplier of tools for the graphic industry and distribution agent for Adobe Middle East, is looking to reinforce its presence across the region, its regional sales director Mahdi Janabi told ITP.net. “When we have a presence in the country, people are more relaxed,” he said. The Qatar office should be open by the fourth quarter of this year while the Kuwait and Bahrain premises are slated to open in the first quarter of 2008, he said. The new premises are part of an ongoing expansion for Graph East, which opened another office, in Oman, in April. Operational since 1997, Graph East already has offices in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia as well as its headquarters in Dubai. As part of its expansion plans, the firm is also looking to take on up to 15 extra staff by the end of the year, Janabi added.
