In an extension of its service offering, fledging telco operator du has launched a new service targeted at visitors to the UAE. The telecom service provider is offering a special package when visitors sign up to its Visitor Mobile Line. The package combines du’s various services including pay by the second as well as giving users access to video calls, mobile TV and mobile broadband. Priced at AED 70 with complimentary credit of AED 20, the package comes with a travel kit including tourist maps and a mini-guide. “We understand the kind of service visitors expect from their mobile lines and have tried to incorporate a balanced mix of information and entertainment to cater to their needs,” said Osman Sultan, CEO, du. The visitor mobile line has a validity of 90 days, but can be migrated to du’s pay as you go or monthly plan packages if the user decides to remain in the UAE, the firm said.
